Orient Trasjopa Company Ltd is a member of Orient Group of Companies and is one of the leading transportation companies in East and Central Africa. We provide customized transport solutions to clients for their exports and imports and other valuable cargo from home to any part of the world. It serves the transportation industry as a contract/carrier specializing in time-sensitive shipments.
Orient's success in meeting the needs of its customers has made it one of the fastest growing carriers.
Since its inception in the year 2000, we have made our presence felt in the whole of East Africa and The Great Lakes region by having registered offices in Mombasa, Lokichogio, Malaba-Uganda and Juba-Sudan. These offices report to the corporate head office in Upper Hill, Nairobi.

We have different modes of transportation to satisfy our customer's individual needs and we maintain contracts with various airlines and shipping lines.

SEE IT "SA-IT."

We do everything we can to manage freight efficiently and deliver your load on time. When we can't, we want you to know about it. So we've developed a proprietary tool we call SA-IT, short for Service Action Items. SA-IT uses our GPS tracking system to keep us apprised of your load status at all times. When we identify a potential late load, we call you directly to let you know, so you can plan accordingly.

MANAGEMENT

The management is composed of experienced, professionals well known in the transport industry.

As Managing director of Orient Group of Companies, John M. Githaiga has over Fifteen years experience in international freight forwarding and logistics management to his credit. A Bachelor's Degree holder from the University of Nairobi as well as a Diploma in Shipping from Bandari College, Githaiga's team has successfully brought the company to where it is today - one of Kenya's most respected and sought after international freight forwarders with offices and agents in East and Central Africa, Great Lakes and Southern Sudan.

Paul K. Mutiro is the Operations Director and is an Engineer by profession from the University of Nairobi. His expansive expertise in logistics and operations is largely from his work experience for companies like Magadi Soda, Karuri Construction, to name a few.
