JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTANT
REPORTS TO: FINANCE MANAGER

KEY PURPOSE
To ensure that financial accounting transactions are controlled,
processed and reported.

KEY OUTPUTS

" Prepares monthly financial reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
" Process monthly journals and transactions
" Ensures that debtors & creditors information is captured and processed accurately and timeously
" Monthly reconciliations company accounts
" Responsible for monitoring and managing Procurement Compliance
" Manage and support procurement policies and procedures for the region
" Daily, Weekly and Monthly reporting
" Manage the flow of project spend.
" Reviews and assists with budget and forecast.
" Updates and maintains fixed asset ledger.
" Develops and maintain financial accounting reporting tools
" Implementation and management of good financial corporate governance processes
" Responsible for the accuracy of audits and closing of gaps.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES

" Numerate and accurate.
" Analytical ability and problem solving skills.
" Ability to organize own work and work independently.
" Communication skills
" Excellent excel and Microsoft Office Suite working skills

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

" Relevant Commercial Degree or equivalent.
" 4 years general accounting experience
