Southern Sudan Beverages Ltd., a recently
established beverage company, wishes to make the following appointment
at their manufacturing facility in Juba, Southern Sudan:

JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
REPORTS TO: PLANT MANAGER
KEY PURPOSE STATEMENT
The incumbent is responsible for supporting the business through the application
of a Human Resources strategy and to lead the HR agenda in the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ROLES
" Implementation of the HR strategy;
" Championing of HR Best Practice;
" Implement Human Resources Development;
" Facilitate Performance Management;
" Consulting support to line managers;
" Optimise Employee Relations climate
" Maximise HR information systems through IT solutions
" Manage HR budget.
" HR administration
" Recruitment Administration
" Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT AND WORKING EXPERIENCE
" A relevant HR qualification, preferably a social science degree
" Excellent communication skills (fluency in spoken and written English
as well as the local language)
" Attention to detail
" Working knowledge of the country legislative framework, especially
labour law
" High level of computer literacy - Advanced IT skills in modern
Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and power point packages
" Sufficient relevant experience in Human Resources management at
managerial level

" Good communication and interpersonal skills
" An effective and efficient person who is capable of understanding
the priorities of HR.
" Must be dynamic, proactive, energetic and punctual
" A self-starter who is able to work long hours with minimum supervision.
" Ability to handle employee and manager complaints
" Able to maintain confidentiality
" Ability to work under pressure
