JOB TITLE: ENGINEER
REPORTS TO: UNIT MANAGER

KEY PURPOSE

Operate, Maintain, Repair and Optimise plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality.

" Manage human resources
" Optimize plant and equipment availability and reliability
" Manage Engineering systems integrity and optimal usage
" Optimise process performance
" Manage CAPIN / CAPEX projects
" Optimize maintenance reliability, availability and cost

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES

Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing strategies and initiatives
Good knowledge of manufacturing/ production processes and technologies
Familiarity with maintenance systems
Proven leadership skills
Analytical problem solver
Influencing ability with regards to sound maintenance practices

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

" 12 years schooling plus B Sc Engineering degree - Mechanical or Electrical
" Certified Engineer
" Prior experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment
