( 1 Year contract)
PSI Sudan has grown rapidly to a staff of more than 50 with programs in
Malaria (LLITNS, PPT), Diarrheal disease (POU Water, ORS), HIV, MCH and
new initiatives related to Zinc.

Population Services International (PSI) is a global organization working
with more than 1,000 partners in over 60 countries, focusing on improving
the health of Southern Sudanese communities, is looking for a highly qualified
and experienced Human Resource Manager. Based in Juba, the successful
candidate will report to the PSI Sudan Country Representative (CR)

Job Title
: Human Resources Manager - PSI Sudan
Tasks and Responsibilities
" Conduct recruitment and selection activities;
" Screen applicants for minimum qualifications;
" conduct interviews with hiring supervisors and department heads;
" guide the selection process and insures legality; reviews personnel
actions to insure compliance with PSI-Sudan Employee Manual Policy and
budget;
" counsel supervisors and employees on personnel related matters;
" provide clarification of personnel policies;
" reviews past practices and makes appropriate recommendations regarding
disciplinary actions and policy issues;
" conduct job audits; create or revise classification specifications;
" participate in the job evaluation committee review;
" conduct the job evaluation committee meeting; document job evaluation
justification and implement approved changes;
" develop and conduct training programs;
" develop and/or coordinate related projects;
" process all personnel actions;
" Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
" University degree and /or professional in a relevant area, such
as accounting finance, administration, human resources, education or social
sciences.
" At least 3 years experience in a Public/Private/NGO Administrative
and/or Finance Section.
" Experience in training, developing training programmes and conducting
training assessments.
" Computer competency, skilled in word processing, spreadsheets (MS
Office).
" Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic would
be an advantage.
Competencies
" Demonstrated initiative, ability to work under pressure and with
limited time frames.
" Experience living and working in developing countries. Experience
in post-conflict countries would be highly regarded.
" Ability to transfer skills to junior staff.
" Ability to cope with physical hardship and willingness to work
extra hours and in an environment with limited infrastructure.
